Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Croatian American Society is introducing a new Tennis in English program which will be held at Tenis centar Maksimir with our very own English teacher, teacher Andreas.
Andreas has been coaching tennis for the past 8 years alongside his English teaching in a few different countries, Norway, Australia and New Zealand. He has taught adults and kids of all ages and levels. He gained his coaching qualification in Brisbane, Australia in 2014 and has attended many development/tennis workshops since.
The aim of this program is to give students the opportunity to not only learn to play tennis, but practise and use the English language in a fun and active way. The course will be designed with a weekly theme and a set of vocab for each lesson; a great way for kids to practice what they have learnt in class or learn something new.
We are encouraging all kids to come to a free “come and try” lesson with the following dates and times available:
Saturday 14.05.22
- 9:00-10:30 Grades 1-3
- 10:30-12:00 Grades 4-6
Saturday 21.05.22
- 9:00-10:30 Grades 1-3
- 10:30-12:00 Grades 4-6
Note: There are 2 Saturdays available to try and each lesson/time slot has a maximum capacity of 8 kids. If the first week is full or vice versa you can sign up for the other week. All rackets and equipment will be provided.
