World Book Night 2015 is fast approaching! The event which celebrates the World Book Day, and whose purpose is to promote reading, encourage discussion of literature and raise awareness of the importance of books in every society and every time period. Book Night 2015 will be held on the 23rd of April 2015.
CAS Program for Book Night 2015:
Morning program – for children
13:00 – 14:00 Show ‘The enormous turnip’
The show will be performed in the English language by children from the ‘Little Star’ Kindergarten.

Evening program
17:30 – 22:00 YOUTH ENGLISH CLUB
Members of YEC will compete in various activities such as: Lego Demo, Spelling Bee, Disney Bingo, Book Summary Challenge, Locked Strategy Challenge, Character Acting/Word Association…
Participants will be grouped by school grades, and will take part in four 20-minute activities which are adjusted to their age. All activities are based on books, and are held in the English language.

19:00 – 20:00 – Guest from the USA Ann Filemyr /Vice President of Academic Affairs & Dean Southwestern College/ will read poetry from her book ‘Love Enough’ which was awarded with the 2012 Prize For Poetry Awards.
