Planting of The John Cage Sequoia Tree Supported by CAS
The planting ceremony of John Cage ( 1912. – 1992.) sequoia tree was held as scheduled on 23rd of April 2014. in front of the local library in Novi Jelkovec.
Planting Sequoia tree was initiated by Saša Šimpraga, supported and symbolically planted in a positive atmosphere by respectful members from Croatian – American Society.
Furthermore, our respectful members welcomed a humble ceremony, including opening speeches by Dragan Kukavica as the President of Assembly at the Croatian – American Society, short inspiring speech considering the importance of social dynamics by Croatian – American Society Main Board member Tvrtko Jakovina, followed by welcoming from coordinator at Library Novi Jelkovec Iva Klak Mršić and of course speech delivered by the initiator of the project Saša Šimpraga.
